Every day, in Guelph and across Ontario people struggle to make ends meet, often having to choose between the most basic needs like paying rent or buying food to eat. Now, Meridian Credit Union, Chalmers Community Services Centre and OHL Hockey’s Guelph Storm are joining forces to fight food insecurity in our communities — and you can make a difference.

How you can help:

• Buy and pick up your $20 ticket to the March 25, 2022, Guelph Storm vs. Kitchener Rangers game at your Guelph, Waterloo or Cambridge branches – all proceeds go to Chalmers Community Services Centre.
• Please bring non-perishable goods to the game — like canned tomatoes, pasta sauce, canned chickpeas and kidney beans, as well as diapers.

The invasion of Ukraine has created a humanitarian crisis. This devastating conflict has already displaced hundreds of thousands of people. The most urgent needs are for food, water and shelter.
