Easter Sunday – Archived Service from 2018 (Alternate)

We thought you might like another option for worshiping on this holiest of Holy Week Days. We have found a recording of the Easter Sunday worship service held at St. Andrew’s Guelph on Sunday April 1, 2018. May it remind you that HE IS RISEN! He is risen indeed.

This photo is from our 190th Anniversary held a few weeks after this Easter Sunday worship service in 2018. Looking good, St. Andrew’s Guelph.

Order of Service – Sunday April 12, 2020 @ 10:30AM – EASTER SUNDAY

REMINDER: We will be sharing an informal Communion service near the end of the service – I’d invite you to find something bread-like and beverage-like (no judgement) in order to participate. If you are watching the recording, I’d encourage you to do the same since. Christ makes the ordinary things of this world HOLY. Taste and see that the LORD is good!

As we prepare our hearts and minds for worship, I’d invite you to watch these clips before we gather.

And please also watch this clip as a set up to the conclusion of Rev. John’s sermon series on Jesus Christ Superstar.

Alleluia Poster for Easter Sunday

Photo by Sara Torda on Unsplash

Here’s another colouring project for you – colouring can be very calming – but this one might be a bit more of a challenge for you. It comes in four parts that you will tape together to create a huge Alleluia Poster to brighten your Easter celebrations. Please share them with us in the LIVE Zoom Easter worship and afterwards, I’d encourage you to post them on your front doors or windows so that you can share the joy of Easter with your community.
Happy Colouring, St. Andrew’s!

I’d invite you to listen to this version of “O Sacred Head, Sore Wounded” either before or after listening to the service (interestingly, I couldn’t find the lyrics that matched this version specifically – so just sing along as best you can on your own!)
