We continue our live broadcast from the Sanctuary this morning. We remain closed to public worship. Rev. John will be away this morning. We are grateful to have Peter Devries as our Tech Lead this morning. Please welcome the Rev. Alex MacLeod as our service leader this morning.

Rev. Alex MacLeod serves as Minister of Kortright Presbyterian Church here in Guelph. He is originally from Toronto, but has also lived in Vancouver, Beijing (PRC), and Bangkok (Thailand). He studied history and philosophy at the University of Toronto and theology at Regent College (UBC) before going on to receive his M.Div. from Knox College. He pursued advance degree studies in the history of Christianity at the doctoral level at Emmanuel College (Toronto School of Theology). Prior to moving to Guelph a decade ago, Alex worked at Knox Church in downtown Toronto as Associate Minister for Small Groups & Leadership Development. He has taught Modern Church History at Tyndale University College & Seminary and used to write regularly for the Presbyterian Record. Alex is married to Judith and they have 3 children: Chloe, Callum, and Lily. They live in the Sunny Acres neighbourhood of downtown Guelph. Alex loves to cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafs (yes, that is a prayer request), collect and consume hot sauces from around the world, and make good use of public libraries.
