B.C. Floods Emergency Response

Saturday Night Supper – December 4
On Saturday December 4 St. Andrew’s and Kortright P. C. are scheduled to donate the supper at the Royal City Mission.  As we have done throughout the pandemic, the Mission and Outreach Coordinating Committee will purchase the salads, dessert bars, and juice boxes that St. Andrew’s is responsible for providing this time.  Monetary donations to St. Andrew’s P. C., designated for the SNS, would be very much appreciated!  
Once again, volunteers will not be needed because only a few people are required to fill up the take-out containers and distribute the meals.  We hope that by March 5, the date of our next Saturday Night Supper, we can have the supper inside, and work alongside volunteers from Kortright to serve the food.

We continue our live broadcast from the Sanctuary this morning. We remain closed to public worship. Rev. John, Fred, and our Tech Team are present this morning.

We are now able to livestream (broadcast) via YouTube each Sunday. You don’t need a link like ZOOM. Just visit our St. Andrew’s Guelph YouTube Channel and select the live service. Thanks to our Tech Team for making this further option available. You can now invite your friends and families to our YouTube channel instead of worrying about ZOOM links.

Join us this Sunday with guest preacher the Reverend Darrell Clarke. Rev. Darrell is the Clerk for the Presbytery of Waterloo-Wellington and currently works as the Director of Social Enterprise for the Mennonite Central Committee in Ontario.

As we gather, we acknowledge that Indigenous people were here long before us who cared for this land and called it home.  This territory has a rich history and was, and is to this day, considered sacred by many First Nations, Metis and Inuit peoples.  We have a responsibility to care for this land as their ancestors did and to continue to strengthen our relationships with our Indigenous neighbours.
